Our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy is embedded into our activities and actions; we take a proactive approach to the future of our – people, clients, partners, shareholders, and communities.

Some of the actions made have been little, while others have been significant. However, we feel that every effort taken to reduce the influence on the environment is favourable.

We wish to share our passion for social causes with the community, which defines us as a company.

Our CSR policy is aligned with our Environmental, Sustainability and Governance objectives, taking a proactive approach in our actions.

Given the nature and scale of our business, we have identified three Pillars where we can have the broader impact best contributed to the social and environmental areas – with a focus on People, Planet and the Product.

Our team is also united to practice responsible stewardship of natural resources and place particular focus on 100 per cent reprocessing of all recyclable materials.

We responsibly promote to our customers’ energy-efficient products, sustainable sources, and packages.

Building a better tomorrow through our products means evolving the way we do business to embrace circular thinking – which means all waste is a resource.

We are achieving this by:

  • Only sourcing products that originate from sustainable manufacturing facilities.
  • Procuring products with clean energy labelling.
  • Ensuring our sourcing and packaging efforts are 100 per cent sustainable.

We continually look to where we can reduce our Carbon Footprint both internally and to our customers. This includes reducing office footprints, Agile Working policies, Clean Power procurement, Reduction in travel, and using partners/suppliers with a similar Environmental/Sustainability focus.

Our team also uses intelligent systems in our customer support systems with intelligent, automated features to ensure we provide the most sustainable and cost-efficient ways of delivering services.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Given the nature and footprint of our business, we take our role and commitment to Sustainability seriously. As part of this, we have identified five critical sustainable development goals (SDGs) that form the framework and targets for our planet, people, and product objectives.

At Brennan, we ensure that many of our business initiatives proactively contribute to these goals, with particular emphasis placed on SDG 3, 11 and 12.

We feel that it is essential to recognise that Sustainability encompasses all aspects of life, from the environment and equality to technology and economics. For that reason, our team is united in continuously identifying ways to be involved in programs and projects that focus on addressing global concerns.

We believe that businesses hold a particular responsibility to the communities in which they operate, towards people and the natural environment. Brennan’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which is embedded into all aspects of our business, aims to support communities, build partnerships and work hand in hand with our suppliers and customers to contribute to a more sustainable future for us all.”
