We are excited to announce that Brennan IT are Silver Partners of Trinity Grammar School‘s (Kew, VIC) ‘Evolve‘ team, who are participating in the world’s largest international STEM challenge: F1 in Schools.

Organised by F1 in Schools and supported by Formula 1, the world finals are taking place in Abu Dhabi between 24th November 2019 and 28th November 2019, just before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and the ‘Evolve’ team will be representing Australia.

About the STEM Challenge

The Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Challenge provides an opportunity to have a taste of what Engineering is like for students in an exhilarating F1 environment. Not only do students absorb these subject areas within Engineering in a ‘fun’ way, they also have a large portion of Marketing and Project Management dedicated to this challenge as part of their successful marketing campaign in preparation for this competition.

Students form teams of 3-6 people to develop, design and manufacture a miniature F1 car of up to 80kph, racing down a 20 metre track. They compete against other schools from across the globe.

From the STEM Challenge, F1 Schools have seen an increase in Engineering careers from students who have participated in it. The combination of STEM and Marketing skills assists these students and future generations in training for their careers and teaches them the skills to prepare for the workforce.
