Founder of Brennan and a leading voice on Australia’s technology services landscape, Dave Stevens has grown Brennan from a boutique MSP into Australia’s leading Systems Integrator, recognised for customer-centred delivery, measurable outcomes, and a pragmatic approach to digital transformation and sovereignty.

True value should be more than just managing a company’s risk register. It needs to deliver a customer uplift, a reduction in churn, increased revenues, reduced reworks, and/or an uptick in the share price.”
Explore Dave’s biography, core capabilities, and a selection of the standout achievements that have shaped his leadership.
Dave Stevens established Brennan in a classroom and from the loft of his Balmain home in 1997, following his childhood dream to establish one of Australia’s leading IT services and system integrator companies.
While working as a senior instructor in Novell, Microsoft, and IP networking for a classroom of mostly IT Professionals, Dave noticed that there were always a couple of small business owners who wanted to leverage technology to improve their businesses.
It was from this experience that Dave recognised the need for these businesses to have a resource to manage their IT environment, and the idea for setting up Brennan was seeded.
Starting out assisting just a handful of clients with sharing files and printer issues, including NSW Farmers’ Association (which remains a client to this day), Brennan now supports more than 1700 customers – including Aurizon, HammondCare and BG&E – with a full suite of managed IT services including cybersecurity, cloud and infrastructure, data and AI, machine learning and solving big problems through digital transformation.
Dave believes the company’s biggest differentiator against global competitors is its ability to offer customised, sovereign solutions for Australian-specific problems across all industry sectors, while also providing great local customer service in cities and towns throughout the country.
