Australian expertise, earned over nearly 30 years

Founded in 1997 on the belief that how technology is delivered is every bit as important as what the technology is, that belief continues to drive Brennan.

We’re one of the few Australian partners to hold every Microsoft Solutions Partner designation (six from six), and one of an even smaller group with Azure Expert Managed Service Provider (MSP) status, Microsoft’s highest cloud accreditation.

We don’t sell software. We design, build, secure and run Microsoft environments for Australian businesses, governments and non-profits, backed by 24/7/365 local support and our True Performance System.

Azure

Modernising and simplifying business

Cloud isn’t a destination anymore. It’s where modern business works. And getting there, and staying there well, takes more than a migration plan. It needs the right architecture, the right governance, and a partner who’s done it before.

We’ve been engineering future-proof cloud strategies for Australian organisations for over 20 years. As an Azure Expert MSP (and one of only a handful in Australia) we help you migrate, modernise and manage Azure with confidence.

We assess your environment, plan your move, and migrate workloads to Azure without disrupting the business. From legacy SQL Server to mission-critical applications, we sequence the right work in the right order to reduce risk and accelerate value.

Our proprietary Cloud Beacon® platform automates Azure management at scale, applying policy guardrails, controlling cost drift, and keeping your environment healthy. So you pay for what you use, and only what you use.

Our Virtual Cloud Engineer (VCE) managed service supercharges your Azure capability without growing headcount. We monitor, optimise and fix proactively — so your team can focus on building, not babysitting.

  • Faster time to value on cloud investments
  • Predictable, optimised cloud spend
  • A secure, well-governed Azure estate
  • Local Australian support, around the clock

Fabric

Governing and scaling AI-data insights

AI is only as smart as the data it feeds on. Most organisations have plenty of that. Just not in a state that’s ready to power AI, or trustworthy enough to bet decisions on.

Microsoft Fabric changes that. It brings data engineering, analytics and business intelligence into one governed environment, so that your data is truly ready to be AI-remarkable.

As a Microsoft Fabric Featured Partner, Brennan helps Australian organisations plan, implement and run Fabric in a way that balances innovation with governance, security and cost. We don’t just simply turn it on. We make sure it works for your business. Then stays working as you scale.

We assess your current data estate, design a Fabric architecture that fits your business, and migrate workloads without breaking what’s already working. Including SQL Server, Synapse and Power BI.

A unified analytic platform only delivers if it’s properly governed. We set up policies, sensitivity labels and Purview controls so the right people see the right data. And your AI initiatives stay trustworthy and compliant.

Once Fabric is live, our managed service monitors, supports and improves your modern data platform, pairing 24/7/365 Virtual DBA support with break/fix and continuous optimisation.

  • Decision-ready data, faster
  • A single governed source for analytics and AI
  • Lower cost, less data duplication
  • Confident, compliant AI rollouts

Copilot

Accelerating outcomes, not just outputs

Copilot performs best when backed by a well-prepared environment. Run without the right groundwork, and it can surface data that shouldn’t be seen, automates tasks that shouldn’t be automated, and disappoints the very people you’re trying to empower.

We help Australian organisations roll out and refine Microsoft 365 Copilot the right way: securely, sensibly and with a clear line-of-sight to real productivity gains. Not just outputs. Outcomes.

A pre-priced, pre-scoped readiness and enablement assessment. We identify where your sensitive information lives, how it moves, and what needs to change before Copilot goes live, so you reduce risk and exposure from day one.

The next phase of information governance. Whole-of-business data classification, sensitivity labelling and lifecycle management — so your Copilot rollout rests on a properly governed Microsoft 365 foundation.

Technology only delivers when people use it well. Our adoption programs help your teams build the habits that turn Copilot from a curiosity into a daily productivity engine.

  • A secure, compliant Copilot rollout
  • Sensitive data protected before deployment
  • Higher adoption, faster
  • Measurable productivity gains across the business

True Performance, delivered

Wherever you buy it, Microsoft technology remains consistent. The difference is who delivers it, and how.

At Brennan, we believe that how technology is delivered is every bit as important as what the technology is. It’s a belief engineered into our True Performance System, a systemised way of working built from millions of customer interactions, refined over nearly 30 years and designed to deliver real and relevant value, day in and day out.

True Connection
We get closer to how your people actually use technology. Continual customer surveys and root-cause analysis mean something more valuable than responding. We anticipate.
True Delivery
A management system that aggregates learnings from thousands of customer engagements, designed to make implementation streamlined and constraint-free.
True Security
Cybersecurity protocols and protections engineered for the highest standards. ISO 27001 certified. Built into everything we do.

Frequently asked questions

Microsoft builds the technology; Brennan makes it operational in your environment. We reduce integration risk by owning outcomes across architecture, security, operations and adoption, so you don’t end up with disconnected workstreams or gaps between “implemented” and “running well.” With 24/7/365 Australian support, Azure Expert MSP status and all six Microsoft Solutions Partner designations, we bring delivery capability Microsoft itself doesn’t provide.

We sequence based on dependencies and risk, not product preference. In practice, that means validating identity and access controls, information governance, and the operating model first, then prioritising platform work that removes constraints (e.g., landing zones, governance guardrails, data foundations) before scaling Copilot or analytics use cases. The goal is to avoid rolling out capability that later needs to be re-engineered for security, cost, or compliance.

Copilot readiness is about making sure your permissions, data and controls won’t create avoidable exposure on day one. We typically start with the highest-risk areas: oversharing from inherited access, unmanaged sensitive information, and inconsistent labelling/retention. The output is a prioritised remediation backlog and a deployment approach that supports phased enablement and measurable adoption.

Copilot respects the access a user already has, so the control plane is your identity, permissions and information governance. We focus on practical guardrails such as access reviews, least-privilege design, Purview sensitivity labels and DLP, retention, and conditional access. We also recommend controlled rollout patterns (pilot → expand) so you can validate exposure, user behaviour and policy effectiveness before scaling.

We set Fabric up as an operating model, not just a platform deployment. That includes clear data ownership and domain boundaries, role-based access, cataloguing and lineage, consistent labelling, and auditability via Purview-aligned controls. The objective is safe self-service at scale: faster insight delivery without losing trust, compliance, or manageability.

We apply FinOps guardrails from the start: policy controls, tagging and allocation, capacity planning, optimisation cycles, and proactive cost anomaly detection. In Azure, we focus on governance and cost drift controls. In Fabric, we focus on capacity utilisation, workload design, and ongoing tuning. The outcome is more predictable spend and fewer “surprise bills” as usage scales.

For targeted readiness and enablement work (e.g., Copilot or Purview Quick Starts), outcomes are typically delivered in weeks. For larger migrations or platform programs (Azure modernisation, Fabric implementation), we scope to a clear business case with defined gates – discovery, pilot, production, then operate/optimise – so that value is visible before you commit to full-scale change.

Absolutely. Handover is a common scenario, and we treat it as a risk-managed transition. We start with access validation, documentation uplift, operational baselining and a stabilisation period, then move into phased optimisation once the environment is under control. The priority is continuity of service first, improvements second, without losing security posture or operational insight during the changeover.
