Cura Day Hospitals Group (Cura) has grown to become Australia’s largest day hospital company, providing high quality, patient-centric care in 29 high tech facilities. But behind the scenes, Cura were growing increasingly concerned about the health of their critical infrastructure.
Cura, Australia’s largest day hospital group, faced challenging infrastructure issues, with outdated hardware threatening to undermine the delivery of exceptional patient care. Needing a mature partner to support their aspirations for digital transformation, they sought Brennan to future-proof their operations.
Cura partnered with Brennan to lead a digital transformation initiative, addressing risks in their legacy VMware environment and ageing hardware. With Microsoft funding secured for Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) workshops and proof-of-concept validation, Brennan designed a compliant and scalable Azure landing zone using Azure Foundations. Workloads were assessed and right-sized via Azure Migrate, enabling the successful rehost migration of 70 Windows and 37 SQL VMs to Azure over an 8-week period.
The Azure migration has helped future-proofed Cura’s critical infrastructure, enabling scalable solutions and savings. And Brennan’s expertise has positioned Cura for further digital transformation, unlocking value creation and better patient outcomes.
For industry superannuation fund Active Super to best serve its 90,000 members, it needs a reliable technology partner. Since 2013, Brennan has been that partner for Active Super – working closely with the Fund to bring stability to the network and providing support using the latest technology.
Active Super required a strategic IT service provider who could design and support new IT infrastructure across their offices. It also needed to be scalable to assist with business growth while meeting APRA requirements.
Partnering with Brennan, the solution designed entailed a complete overhaul of the IT back-end moving to the Cloud while the front-end remained largely unaltered. The solution design consisted of the following services:
Moving to the cloud not only gave Active Super the flexibility to scale, but it also achieved cost savings and efficiency gains.
