WELCOME TO
THE VOICE

Welcome to October’s edition of The Voice.

There aren’t many words in the English language that have been used more over the past decade, at least in the ICT-space, than ‘digital transformation’. So much time, money and effort has been poured into it, that you’d think we’d be close to achieving it.

The problem is, we’re not. Australia is ranked second bottom in the digital maturity index and 70% of projects are failing. The reasons for failure are varied but fundamentally shortcuts are being sought and not enough time is being spent on what the true goal is: Service Transformation. Organisations have become too reliant on quick fixes and out-of-the-box solutions without considering what they actually need to solve the real business problem.

Below we explore some of these themes and hopefully provide some useful advice. Happy reading.
