Complete security entails multiple barriers integrated directly into your network. At Brennan, we employ a layered system - with our primary firewall system based on Juniper (NetScreen) devices and all layers running in a cluster to increase availability. Intrusion Detection/Prevention is provided by Cisco Security Architecture - comprising separate monitoring systems that report to a centralised management station for event correlation. All traffic between security zones within the network must pass through at least 1 device - in most cases 2.

Brennan's security network is monitored 24/7/365, guarding against attacks in real time, In the event of an attack, we not only take the appropriate action stop it, we notify all required parties - including the federal police. We've won several cases against both domestic and international carriers for allowing their networks to be used as launch pads against Brennan for our clients.

      Brennan guarantees to remove all in - and outbound known viruses from your email traffic. Inbound email must be sent to our servers and outbound email must be directed to a secure address provided by us. You also receive weekly reports on Sunday nights detailing the viruses removed in the past week.
    • Anti-spam - experts estimate that up to 70% of email is spam
      Brennan allows you to login via a secure web browser and view your own quarantine list. You can also manage your own black and white lists, and set email notification that will notify you of any new spam caught in your quarantine. If required, this can be set to allow just a single administrator access.
    Both the above services are hosted within the Brennan network, which means:
