Brennan is a system design, integration and support company, providing outsourced IT engineering services to the corporate and SME sectors since 1997.

Brennan Software Development is the division responsible for custom application development for Brennan and its clients. Established in 2004, Brennan Software has already produced several first of breed applications.

The majority of development undertaken by Brennan Software Development is based on Microsoft's .NET platform, with projects ranging from distributed applications and web based systems, to middleware and integration tools.

We're looking for a front end web developer; someone with a flair for look and feel and delivering attractive and stylish work for their clients. You will need to be comfortable working both autonomously as well as in a team; considering that the development team work very closely together.

'Soft' skills are also vitally important in this role; there is a large amount of directly client facing assignments, including requirement gathering and interpretation and training. Hence there is a need for very strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

In terms of experience you must have:
  • 1 - 2 years of Commercial experience
  • A number of server-side scripting technologies [PHP, ASP, ASP.NET]
  • Delivering applications as part of a team
  • Web design experience
  • Design/Image creation experience
  • DHTML
  • JavaScript
  • CSS
And any experience in the following would be beneficial:
  • AJAX
  • XML/XSL
  • Flash
  • Familiarity with SharePoint
  • SQL Server
