Brennan Software Development is a system design, integration and support company providing outsourced IT solutions and services to the small to medium business sector. We have a large, prestigious and growing client base Australia wide.

Demand for custom application development and consultancy services has reached new heights and we are looking for enthusiastic and accomplished .Net Developers to evangelise, consult and develop business solutions for existing and new clients as well as for our sister companies Brennan IT and Brennan Voice and Data.

The majority of development undertaken by Brennan Software Development is based on Microsoft's .NET platform, with projects ranging from distributed applications and web based systems, to middleware and integration.

We're looking for a mid level developer; someone who has a knack for solving problems and still enjoys the client facing side of development too.

You will need to be comfortable working both autonomously as well as in a team. Considering that the development team work very closely together, and the amount of directly client facing assignments, good communication skills are essential.

In terms of experience you must have:
  • 2-3 years of Commercial .NET experience (1.1 or 2.0)
  • ASP.NET (C# preferred)
  • Delivering applications as part of a team
  • Client facing experience
  • Application Design
  • Web Services
  • SQL Server (2000/2005)
  • Understanding of RDBMS
And any experience in the following would be beneficial:
  • VB6
  • Classic ASP
  • SharePoint
  • BizTalk
  • Ajax
  • Javascript
  • DHTML
In addition, you will require a good understanding of the concepts of object oriented programming on an enterprise scale. Exposure to formal development methodologies including agile development techniques will be an advantage.
