Brennan has developed a comprehensive and flexible project management methodology, which allows us to consistently deliver high quality, financially responsible and timely projects.

Our project managers and technical staff are trained in, tested and certified on all aspects of this methodology to ensure they are proficient in all the processes, procedures and tools that comprise industry best practice.

Our project teams are able to deliver all nature of IT projects, such as the deployment of a standard operating environment, large scale server upgrades, complete load balancing solutions or even software development.

Our proprietary Project Management Methodology has been designed and perfected by Brennan to ensure you a guaranteed result. We're so confident in our ability to deliver your project on time and on budget, we offer a 30-day warranty on completion of any project.

    Risk Plan (optional below $100K)
Developing a Risk Plan can be essential to avoiding problems during the implementation stage of a project.
Brennan's risk assessment generally follows 3 simple steps:
    • Identify areas of uncertainty that might impede on the project's progress
    • Determine what effect those areas of uncertainty might produce
    • Develop strategies that minimise those effects

Brennan recommends the development of a Risk Plan to minimise the likelihood of foreseeable risks impacting on the delivery of your IT solution. Examples of these risks are:
Internal risks: scope change, cost overrun, time overrun, cash flow, funding, personnel changes or unavailability
External risks: legislative changes, business reorganisations, financial performance, sub-contractor availability

Scope management & change control As staff and management start to see an IT project take shape, they often become inspired by the new possibilities and their imagination starts to work. If their imaginations aren't checked, the scope of works can easily blow out of proportion, affecting costings and timings.

The answer lies in effective change control. Imaginative suggestions are valuable and should not be disregarded, but we can't simply adopt them on the fly. Brennan manages this process through a Change Request system - logging new suggestions as they're generated.

Each Change Request will describe the nature of the suggestion, who suggested it, and why. We will also include a close consideration of the knock-on effects to other parts of the project, specifically the cost and timings.

The Change Request is then submitted to your senior management for authorisation, which can either be granted, deferred or denied, based on a careful consideration of the facts. If the change is authorised, your IT project's scope of works - including timings and budgets - are updated before the project proceeds as normal.

    Change acceptance training
People resist change for many reasons. Brennan are experts at recognising change resistance - a large factor in the success (or failure) of IT implementation. We maintain a number of relationships with professional organisations who supply specialist services to help ease the effects of change in an organisation.

  2. STRATEGIC REVIEW

Brennan's Strategic Review process is a straightforward, low-cost analysis of your current IT infrastructure and expectation, leading to the development of a "roadmap" for your future IT needs.
