Brennan IT named 2014 Managed Services Provider of the Year

Ranked #1 in Australia and #8 globally in MSPmentor 501, global list of leading managed services providers 10 March 2014, Sydney, Australia Brennan IT has asserted its leadership position in servicing the Australian mid market, claiming first position, for a fifth year running, in the annual MSPmentor 501. The MSPmentor 501 is a distinguished list and research report compiled by Nine Lives Media Inc. that identifies the world’s top 100 managed service providers based on a range of metrics, including annual managed services revenue growth, revenue per employee and customer devices managed. This is the fifth consecutive year Brennan has received top honours, that managing director Dave Stevens says is attributed to the strong revenue growth the company is seeing in this space, driven in part by the mid market’s growing appetite for managed services. In particular, traditional managed services such as managed desktop, servers and user support have experienced a growth of 30 per cent, supporting new customers such as Guide Dogs Australia and Retail Apparel Group. Further driving growth, the company has also started to see a demand for managed network devices, a new offering from Brennan IT that includes end-to-end management of clients’ networking devices from routers, switches and firewalls. “With budgets still under pressure to deliver even more value from IT, outsourcing for managed services continues to present a compelling business model for mid sized businesses especially,” said Stevens. Organisations enjoy the flexibility of a managed services agreement coupled with the high level of client engagement that Brennan IT provides. Overall, Brennan IT’s managed services business enjoyed a revenue growth of more than 30 per cent in the past year. This growth has been driven by higher client adoption of the provider’s managed cloud, data network and security offerings. Stevens signals further growth in these areas, with Brennan IT investing heavily in expanding its managed services operations. The managed services provider recently built on its cloud offer to deliver the most comprehensive hybrid cloud solution on the market.
