Security

• Brennan BPIP services do not traverse the internet and terminate straight on to our MPLS backbone which ensures your company data is kept entirely private.
• We employ Carrier Grade firewalls and switches on the network to ensure that your business is kept safe and separate from the threats on the Internet.

Network Architecture and Redundancy 

• Our network was designed by engineers from the Australian Defence Force to an exacting and industry leading standard.
• Built on the Cisco Triangulation standard, Brennan owns, manages and maintains a core network sitting upon fully redundant Cisco equipment nationally with redundant many POP’s that have auto-failover capability  and fully redundant paths across multiple carriers.
• Brennan proactively monitors all core network links –and in the event of a link reaching 65%+ of bandwidth for more than fifteen (15) minutes it is automatically upgraded. This capacity management methodology is unique to Brennan and is driven by the desire to maintain high standards of business continuity, and the delivery of effective communication across our clients.

Coverage

• One of the benefits of the Brennan MPLS network is the ability to provide a wide variety of access technologies to locations anywhere in Australia and independent of the the other technologies employed on the WAN.
• Our most popular access technologies include xDSL, Midband Ethernet, Ethernet over Fibre, Dark Fibre and Microwave Wireless which allows us to reach remote locations with substantial bandwidth.

Support

• Brennan operates 3 Australian-based Service Desks in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne which are available 24 x 7 x 365.
• We do not have a pager service; we employ highly skilled engineers with Cisco and Microsoft certifications at a minimum.
• Understanding that networks are not simple and faults can occur from a wide variety of technical occurrences, Brennan can also provide Desktop User and internal LAN support.
• We try to resolve faults remotely, however we can also send engineers to site for critical faults if needed.

Routers

• Due to their superior performance, interoperability, security and stability features Brennan only uses Cisco Routers to terminate services on at each location.
• We include Cisco routers as standard with all our connections and fully manage the devices including all IOS upgrades and security patches at no extra charge.
• Included in our unique Service Level Agreement, Brennan also commits to configuring, shipping, installing and testing new routers should their ever be an issue with the on-site router at no extra charge.

Management & Advice 

• All Brennan services are fully managed so you are free to focus on your business.
• We employ account managers that will support you with any billing enquiries, provide direction on new technologies to complement your individual situation and to ensure you are receiving the best service for your monthly investment.
• We also provide a Service Centre Portal for clients that are interested in keeping track of the performance of the connections; setting alerts for certain critical services.
• We proactively manage all connections, so we will know about any faults and working on rectification before you are even aware of an issue.
